Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026.

1. Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Muhammed Enes Akdağ, trading as Dezgahtan, Gündoğdu Mah. Beyazıt Sk. Selçuklu Sitesi D Kapı No:88 İç Kapı No:8, 60300 Turhal / Tokat, Türkiye. Contact for privacy questions: [email protected].

2. What data we process and why

• Order and delivery data (name, e-mail, telephone, delivery and billing address, items ordered, payment status): to take, prepare, deliver and invoice your order, to deal with returns and complaints, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

• Messages you send by e-mail, WhatsApp or the contact form: to answer you and to provide care and repair support.

• Newsletter (e-mail address): to send you news from the workshop if you subscribe; you can unsubscribe at any time.

• Site usage data (device and browser information, pages viewed, cart and checkout steps, approximate location from the IP address): to run and secure the site, to measure how it is used and to measure our advertising. In your browser, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel run only with your consent (see section 7). Server-side measurement connections that we have enabled in our platform, such as Meta’s Conversions API, are covered separately in sections 4 and 7.

3. Legal bases

Depending on the case: performing your contract with us, our legal obligations (for example tax and accounting records), our legitimate interests (security, preventing fraud, improving the site) and your consent (for example the newsletter, and cookies or similar technologies where the law requires consent).

4. Who receives data

Only where needed: our e-commerce platform provider (ikas), which operates the store and processes order, cart and site usage data on its servers, and through which we have enabled server-side measurement connections (for example Meta’s Conversions API; it has not been confirmed that they follow your cookie choice, see section 7), our payment service providers (card data is entered on the payment step and handled by the provider, not stored by us), shipping carriers (which also pass shipment data, such as name, address, telephone, e-mail and a description of the goods, to customs authorities where required), and service providers for analytics and advertising measurement (Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel in your browser, only if you consent in the cookie settings) and for site functions (Google Tag Manager). We do not sell your data.

5. Transfers outside your country

We are based in Türkiye and our service providers may process data in other countries. If you would like to know more about this, please contact us at [email protected].

6. How long we keep data

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above and as long as the law requires us to keep records (for example tax and accounting records). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies. Necessary ones are needed for the cart, checkout, security, your session and your language and currency choice; they are always on.

With your consent only: Analytics (Google Analytics, loaded through the Google tag) to understand which pages are used, and Marketing (Meta Pixel) to measure our advertising. Until you choose, and if you reject, Google Analytics sends no measurement data and the Meta Pixel is not loaded; neither sets cookies. Google Tag Manager is loaded for site functions such as the WhatsApp chat button; because Google’s script files are served by Google, Google can see technical connection data such as your IP address when they are downloaded, even before you choose.

Your choice. The first time you visit, a banner offers “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Manage preferences” (necessary, analytics, marketing). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” button in the bottom corner of every page. Your choice is saved in your browser (local storage) until you change it; if you withdraw consent, we delete the Google Analytics and Meta cookies in your browser. We also remember in your browser if you chose to stay on this store when we suggested another country’s store.

What the choice does and does not control. It controls Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel in your browser. It has not been confirmed whether the server-side measurement connections that we enabled in our platform (for example Meta’s Conversions API) follow this choice; until it is confirmed, please do not assume that the “Cookie settings” button switches them off. We do not treat advertising measurement as necessary. Our platform provider also processes order, cart and site usage data on its servers to operate the store (see section 4). You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; some functions of the site may then not work.

8. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you (for example the GDPR or the UK GDPR, or Law No. 6698 in Türkiye) you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, to object, to receive your data in a portable format and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your data protection authority. Please write to [email protected].

Terms of Sale

Last updated: 15 October 2026. These terms apply to orders placed on dezgahtan.com for delivery outside Türkiye.

1. Seller

The seller is Muhammed Enes Akdağ, trading as Dezgahtan, Gündoğdu Mah. Beyazıt Sk. Selçuklu Sitesi D Kapı No:88 İç Kapı No:8, 60300 Turhal / Tokat, Türkiye (tax office: Turhal Vergi Dairesi Müdürlüğü, tax number 0200691755). Contact: [email protected], WhatsApp +90 547 001 2424. Full details are on the Legal Information page.

2. Our products

Our jewellery is handmade in our workshop in Turhal, Tokat. The main body of a piece is described on its product page, including materials, stones, silver fineness and craftsmanship. Because pieces are handmade and natural materials vary, small differences in colour, pattern and finish are normal. Photos are for illustration.

3. Ordering

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm the order by e-mail or dispatch the item. We may decline an order, for example if an item cannot be made as described or the payment cannot be verified; in that case we refund any amount already charged.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency of the storefront you are using and are the prices charged at checkout. Delivery to you is free. Payment is made by card through our payment service providers on the secure payment step. We do not store your card number, expiry date or security code; they are handled by the payment provider.

5. Delivery

Preparation, transport time, tracking and customs procedures are described in our Shipping and Delivery page, which forms part of these terms.

6. Right to withdraw, returns and refunds

You can withdraw within 14 days after you receive your order, send the item back within 14 days after you tell us, and we refund within 14 days after your notice, as set out in our Returns, Refunds and Exchanges page, which forms part of these terms. Genuinely personalised items are excluded from change-of-mind returns; choosing a standard size is not personalisation.

7. Faulty or wrong items and legal rights

If an item is faulty, damaged or not as ordered, you have the legal rights of the country where you live (in the EU at least two years under the legal guarantee; in the United Kingdom under the Consumer Rights Act 2015). We bear the shipping costs of putting this right. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded.

8. Care and repair support

Our workshop offers care and repair support for pieces sold abroad, as described in the Returns, Refunds and Exchanges page: first photos or a video, then an assessment of labour and materials, a quote and your approval before any work. Some work is free and some is paid, as told to you in advance.

9. Personal data

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Questions and complaints

Please write to [email protected] or WhatsApp +90 547 001 2424 (Monday–Saturday, 09:00–21:00 Türkiye time). We try to answer within one business day.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Last updated: 15 October 2026. This policy applies to orders delivered outside Türkiye.

1. Your 14 days to change your mind

You may withdraw from your order without giving a reason within 14 days after you receive the item (if several items of one order are delivered separately, after you receive the last one). Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel, giving your order number, by WhatsApp (+90 547 001 2424) or e-mail ([email protected]). No special form is needed. We confirm that we have received your notice.

2. Sending the item back

Please send the item back within 14 days after you tell us that you are withdrawing. After your notice we send you the return address and instructions. Please send the item unused, apart from the handling needed to inspect it, in its original box and packaging together with any certificate or label. Use a tracked service and keep your proof of dispatch.

3. Who pays for the return shipping

If you return an item because you changed your mind, you pay the direct cost of sending it back. You may choose any tracked carrier; the cost depends on that carrier's current rates for your country, and we will give you an estimate on request. If the item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, we pay all shipping costs (see section 6). If the law of your country gives you a stronger right, that right applies.

4. Refund

We refund the price of the item to the card you paid with, in one payment and without extra charges to you. Delivery to you is free, so it is not deducted from your refund. We refund within 14 days after you tell us that you are withdrawing; we may wait until we have received the item back or you have shown proof that you sent it, whichever comes first. We do not force store credit; if you prefer a voucher you may ask for one. Your bank decides when the money appears on your statement. If the item has lost value because it was handled beyond what is needed to inspect it, we may deduct that loss to the extent the law allows.

5. Personalised items

Items made to your own wishes — for example an inscription or engraving you choose, a custom design, a stone or a size outside our catalogue — cannot be returned because you changed your mind, as the law allows for such goods. This applies only to genuinely personalised items. Choosing one of the ring sizes offered on a product page is not personalisation; those items can be returned under this policy. Before we start a personalised item we show you what will be made and ask for your written confirmation (for example on WhatsApp). Your rights if such an item is faulty or not as agreed stay unchanged.

6. Faulty, damaged or wrong items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty or different from what you ordered, please send us photos or a short video and your order number. We reply within one business day. We will repair or replace the item, reduce the price or refund you, as the law of your country provides, and we pay all shipping costs involved. Your legal rights for faulty goods (in the EU at least two years under the legal guarantee, in the United Kingdom under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, elsewhere under your local law) are not limited by this page or by anything else we offer.

7. Exchanging or adjusting the ring size

If a standard size does not fit, write to us with a photo or measurement within 14 days of delivery. We first assess whether an exchange or a size adjustment is possible for that piece. We then send you a written quote with any charge, the shipping terms and the expected time. We only ship or work on the piece after you accept the quote in writing. This does not replace your right to withdraw under section 1; you may withdraw instead.

8. Care and repair support

In addition to your legal rights, our workshop offers care and repair support for pieces bought from us abroad. Please send photos or a video first. We assess the work (labour and materials) and tell you in advance whether it is free or paid, the fee if there is one and the shipping terms. We start only after you approve. This support is a service on top of, not instead of, your legal rights for faulty goods.
